Coach Ed Conroy and The Citadel basketball team want your support at Furman this Wednesday night at 7pm. This important conference game will take place inside Timmons Arena at 7pm. Furman received the most first place votes in the conference pre-season polls. With that said, our Dogs are playing very competitive basketball under Conroy, Citadel Class of 1989 and Regimental XO.

Our team defeated Chattanooga last week while narrowly losing to Sanford over the weekend. Coach Conroy on the comeback: " A great comeback by the guys - they worked so hard to get to that point. I think the effort took a lot of energy, and we have got to become better at starting games so we don't have to expend that kind of energy. Give Samford credit, they made their plays down the stretch, and executed their offense. I thought we had a couple of good looks at the basket there at the end that just did not go in for us.
“It does not get any easier for us this week in the Upstate. We look forward to playing in front of our fans at Furman and Wofford. During my first tenure at The Citadel, our Upstate alumni were unbelievably supportive”.
